Jędrzej Moraczewski (Polish pronunciation: [ˈjɛndʐɛj mɔraˈt͡ʂɛfkʲi]; 13 January 1870 – 5 August 1944) was a Polish socialist politician who served as first Prime Minister of Poland (of the Second Polish Republic), from November 1918 to January 1919.
In 1918–1919 he served as the Minister of Communications, and in 1925–1929 as the Minister of Public Labour.
Moraczewski died on 5 August 1944, when a shrapnel fired by a Soviet soldier fired into his house, causing his instant death.
